Sketch A Diagram
At Rocky Mountain Granite and Marble, we require a detailed sketch for estimates since we do not provide on-site evaluations. Start by measuring off of the back wall as opposed to the front of the countertops and indicate any cutouts needed such as sink(s), cooktops, and outlets. Remember to include any additional overhangs for islands and peninsulas if needed. If you prefer a backsplash in granite or quartz instead of tile, indicate its position and desired height on your diagram. Below, you'll find a sample diagram to guide you in what we need to provide you with a quote.
Selection
We understand that selecting the perfect stone color, edge, and sink for your project is an important decision. That's why we take every step to ensure your satisfaction. Our team of professionals are committed to bringing out the beauty in every piece of stone. Whether you prefer a classic look or a modern flair, we have a wide variety of options to choose from.
Dates
Once you've found the perfect selection, we'll work with you to schedule dates that fit your needs. We’ll provide you with three dates: your template date, which is when we come out to your house and measure the space, ensuring that you receive a customized product that fits your home perfectly; followed by your slab approval date and installation date.
Approval
Once you’ve approved the slabs that will transform your home, the exciting journey of fabrication begins. When ready, we’ll provide a two-hour time frame before your template and installation appointment. To secure your spot in our schedule, we do require a 50% deposit.
Cabinets
When it comes to selecting new cabinets, it's important to have a plan in place for installation. One key step is to ensure that your cabinet installer gives you the date when the base cabinets will be installed and in place. Once you have this information, you can then proceed with scheduling your countertop template. This keeps things moving along smoothly, and don't hit any delays in the process.
