What if I scratch my countertop?
Granite is extremely scratch resistant, but if it does scratch, our expert fabricators will use a variety of techniques to resurface and remove the scratches.
What type of maintenance does granite require?
Granite is sealed upon installation and only requires sealing every year to 18 months depending on use and cleaning habits. Sealing granite is as simple as using a soft cloth to apply sealer, and wiping it off after a few minutes. Sealer is available at Rocky Mountain or other outlets.
How is Granite affected by heat?
Granite is almost impervious to heat. Being a natural stone, it is able to withstand oven to counter pans, pizza stones, etc.
